StoreNext Adds Fujitsu’s TeamPoS 3000 To Retail Technology Offering for Independent Grocers
Upgrade Program Protects Investment, Cuts Costs with Up to $1,000 per Lane Rebates

PLANO, Texas – Nov. 8, 2007 – StoreNext Retail Technologies LLC has completed the integration of Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc.’s TeamPoS 3000 terminals with StoreNext’s point-of-sale (POS) software. ISS45™ and ScanMaster® plug-and-play with the TeamPoS 3000’s broad range of options, which is now available to independent and regional-chain grocers through StoreNext’s nationwide dealer network.

A new StoreNext program offers up to $1,000 per lane trade-ins for ScanMaster, ISS45 and other POS users wishing to upgrade all or part of their POS lanes. Further protecting retailers’ investments, the new TeamPoS 3000 controllers are backward-compatible with earlier TeamPoS peripherals, extending the life of previous components.

“Independent grocers require the best new technology to cut costs and provide the high shopper service levels needed to compete in today’s market.” said Ray Carlin, president and CEO of StoreNext. “StoreNext provides that technology in the most cost-effective manner, saving time and cost by pre-integrating all our systems. Our new TeamPoS 3000-based packages combine lower prices with even better front-end reliability and the best peripheral technology.”

The TeamPoS 3000 can be equipped with either the Intel® Pentium® M or Celeron® M processors, to create high-performance solutions. These Intel processors simultaneously handle multiple displays and transaction components, enhancing the POS system’s operational quality and advanced features and ultimately providing faster checkout and an improved shopping experience. TeamPoS 3000 systems also adhere to RoHS and WEEE “green” standards with very low power consumption that can save stores thousands of dollars in utility costs.

Service has been further improved by TeamPoS 3000 XL’s redesigned chassis. All major internal components can be accessed from the front: personnel do not need to un-install the terminal, detach peripherals or even unplug interface cables. This further reduces retailers’ downtime and maintenance costs.

Powered USB connections eliminate all external power supplies and cables for peripherals, thus simplifying installation and providing clean, uncluttered checkout lanes. The positive slide-and-click USB connections open the door to practical lower-cost depot maintenance and eliminate costly damage from broken connector pins and short circuits.
